Develops & manages philanthropic programs, such as scholarship and grant awards, commodity and needs drives, and other programs that meet the mission and purpose of the organization.
Oversees development of the budget; ensures accurate tracking, monitoring, and accountability for funds; ensures adequate financial controls; provides contract & terms review.
Provides member fulfillment, reviews member applications, processing member benefits, providing prospective member follow up, and contacts new individuals and businesses to promote the organization's mission and purpose. Plans and develops membership incentive programs.
Identifies and creates educational programs and opportunities to provide to both SWCV Members and Community.
Oversees development and implementation of the Fundraising Plan; identifies and solicits gifts and donations from external sources of support to achieve the organization's philanthropic goals.
Builds and maintains the SWCV website to educate the public about the organization and its mission and purpose, to successfully execute member tools and administer member benefits, and to provide community information in a professional manner, consistent with the guidelines and goals determined by the board.
Plans and coordinates major events, networking mixers, and works closely with fundraising committee to execute fundraising events.
Oversees development and implementation of the Marketing Plan, including identifying potential markets, their needs, how to meet those needs with products, services & programs, and how to promote and sell the programs. Represents the organization to the community; enhances the organization's image, including communications with the press.
